Elton Skendaj is the Gladdys E. Muir Associate Professor of Peace Studies at Manchester University. His teaching and research focus on addressing root causes of civil wars, the role of international organizations in conflict resolution, and nonviolent activism. Dr. Skendaj holds a Ph.D. in political science from Cornell University, and a master’s in peace studies from University of Notre Dame.
