Expert Bio
Emma Larson is a staff intern with the History and Public Policy for the summer of 2023. Graduating from Williams College with degrees in both history and Russian, Emma is currently interested in the political and gender history of Central Asia. She will continue her academic career with a master's in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European studies at Columbia University's Harriman Institute this fall. Prior to her position at the Wilson Center, Emma was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Kazakhstan and worked on collections at a Cold War museum in Culver City, California.
