Eric Márquez Martínez is a Research Assistant Intern for the Mexico Institute at the Wilson Center. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Eric moved to Washington D.C. at a young age, combining the two cultures into his education and formative growth which laid the foundation for the bilingual approach he takes towards understanding political, economic, and environmental issues in North America, as well as internationally. Prior to his work at the Mexico Institute, Eric obtained his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park in the Spring of 2023.
