Morgan Y. Liu is a cultural anthropologist studying Eurasia’s financial elites who forge networks of collaboration across Central Asia, Russia, China, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond. He is Chair of Near Eastern & South Asian Languages & Cultures at The Ohio State University. He served as president of the Central Eurasian Studies Society from 2019-2022.
