Zachary Michael Bastian, J.D., joined the Woodrow Wilson Center in 2011 as a research assistant after serving as a legal intern on the United States Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Disaster Recovery and Intergovernmental Affairs. A graduate of the University of Texas (B.A., 2004) and the George Washington University Law School (J.D., 2012), Mr. Bastian is focused on intellectual property, 21st century communications policy, and the use of technology for better government outcomes. He lives and works in Washington, D.C.
