Visual Artist Mona Elkateb Defends Egyptian Women’s Rights
Egyptian Mona Elkateb experiments with a range of visual artforms, including digital illustration and design. Last year, she turned her hobby into a career and now works as a full-time freelance artist.
In July 2020, Mona was heavily engaged in Egypt’s online movement that brought to light the discrimination and inequities women face. Her work continues to explore themes related to women’s rights and political development.
