Full Biography
Denis Boyarinov has been writing about Russian and international music for over 20 years, his subjects ranging from underground electronic music to pop and rock mainstream phenomena. In the late ‘90s to early 2000s, his columns and reviews were published in major Russian popular culture magazines: OM, Afisha and Time Out Moscow. He co-founded Colta.ru, an independent online media platform for cultural commentary and criticism, and was the head of its contemporary music department. He has co-founded and organized a number of high-profile music events and exhibitions, and has given numerous public talks on the history of popular music. He created the Red Book Telegram channel, dedicated to little-known stories from the history of Soviet and Russian music. He now lives and works in Argentina.

В эпоху бумажных медиа работал и публиковался в знаковых российских изданиях: «ОМ», Time Out и «Афиша». Один из создателей независимого онлайн-медиа о культуре Colta.ru, где возглавлял раздел «Современная музыка». Параллельно с журналистской работой выступал куратором музыкальных событий и выставок и читал лекции об истории популярной музыки. Создатель телеграм-канала «Красная книга», посвященного малоизвестным сюжетам из истории советской и российской музыки. Сейчас живет и работает в Аргентине.
